Regular Activities

Since the establishment of Ugar Mahila Mandal we are having the practice of organizing a weekly meeting of the members on every Wednesday. It’s an opportunity for them to come together, express their views on various topics informally and have a good exchange on the whole. Each Wednesday is dedicated for an activity.

The 1st Wednesday of the month, games are arranged.
The 2nd Wednesday – some topic is discussed which will be of interest to the members.
The 3rd Wednesday cookery demo is organized.
The 4th Wednesday is for library and games like Carrom, Cards etc.

When there is a 5th Wednesday tea and snacks are provided along with some programme.
Some specific festivals and functions are also observed in Ugar Mahila Mandal with full enthusiasm and spirit. 1st June and 31st of March is considered as the operational year (a period of 10 months). In the month of April a General Body Meeting is organized and by way of informal elections a working committee for the next year is formed.
